I had the opportunity to dine here with my buddy and we absolutely enjoyed our experience. We didn't intend to dine, but with such a welcome ambiance, we decided to do just that. We both ordered Jerk Chicken with Rice & Peas and it was absolutely delicious. The rice was flavourful and the chicken was seasoned to the bone - tender all through. They also have fresh juices on sale that was very refreshing. What was surprising, we did not get charged for dining as the ambiance kinda seem like it would be extra for it. I absolutely recommend!!!
I was craving curry goat, and I wanted authentic flavour; I definitely got it here. The food was absolutely incredible. I got the large size, and it took 45 minutes to finish (I eat fast too). I will definitely be going back and will be showing my friends and family the place. GOOD VIBES FTW
Nothing but good vibes & good food at this new casual yet chic little Jamaican restaurant - a welcome addition to the Danforth Village neighbourhood. Their modern takes on traditional Jamaican dishes are as refreshing as their house made cold pressed juices are - and everything from the jerk chicken to their vegan options to the array of homemade cakes was simply delectable.
Good Vibes Kitchen is the authentic representation of a tasty and appetizing Jamaican spot on the Danforth, this Jerk chicken is excellently seasoned and marinated, and the meat is so tender, that it comes off the bone. Likewise, coleslaw salad is really good. It makes a good combo with beans and rice, I think portions are accurate for what you pay for. Perhaps, a little detail, the boss there needs extra help when he gets more than 3 people at the same time. Cheers!
Good vibes came highly recommended, gave it a shot tonight for dinner and it was EXCELLENT!! Got the stew chicken which fell off the bone! Flavor was there! Coleslaw was perfect, creamy I really enjoyed it also ordered a side of plantain which was cook fresh to order.. I can't believe I've been sleeping on this place its been a local spot and I never knew!!!! Will definitely be going back. Great food, clean establishment, customer service was good. You won't be disappointed
Second time I picked up their Curry Goat Roti(16.49tax). Big portion, shared between two people. Legitimately good curry goat, nice balance of spice, roti was very soft and thin. Really enjoyed it. Service was again super friendly.
I got a jerk chicken plate and it was really good, Robert was great letting me sit and eat a littlepass closing time. The food wasn't so spicy, well marinated and juicy and I absolutely loved the coleslaw I had to buy more just to finish my rice hehe. I would return again and have another plate when it's not closing time and during a snowstorm
What good vibes came here with a friend who highly recommended it and I wasn’t disappointed, neither was my toddler!! He pretty much ate my whole meal but from what I was able to taste- so so good! Staff was so friendly and welcoming- I’ll definitely make this a go to spot. We go a lunch deal even though it technically wasn’t on the daily special but generous portions and good prices! Highly recommend!!
